Which Weighted Vest should You Choose?

What is a weighted vest for?

A weighted vest allows you to add extra weight to your body during bodyweight exercises such as pull-ups, push-ups, dips, squats, muscle-ups, or handstands. This increases the intensity of your training and accelerates progress. Because the weight is distributed across your upper body, it helps you maintain balance and form, while remaining versatile for upper body, lower body, or cardio exercises.

How do you use a weighted vest?

You simply wear the vest during training, with the weights adjusted to your level. Its compact, close-to-body design ensures great freedom of movement. Thanks to adjustable straps, it adapts to your body shape. You can easily machine wash it at 30 °C (without fabric softener) after removing the straps and closing the Velcro, then air-dry it.

The 2 main criteria when choosing a weighted vest

How much weight do you want to add?

  • The Elite 10 kg vest is adjustable from 1 to 10 kg in 1 kg increments.

  • The Elite 20 kg vest is adjustable from 1 to 20 kg in 1 kg increments.

What type of training do you do?

  • If you’re a beginner or focusing on endurance, 10 kg is enough to progress without compromising mobility.

  • If you’re advanced or focused on strength and progressive overload, 20 kg is more suitable.

With the right vest - 10 kg to start, 20 kg to go further - you can gradually and safely increase training intensity. This boosts strength, endurance, and muscle development across a wide range of exercises: pull-ups, dips, push-ups, squats, handstands, muscle-ups, cardio, HIIT. The 1 kg incremental adjustment system lets you gradually add load, which is key for progressive overload - essential in calisthenics and cross-training.
