FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is the advantage of Grip Tape?

Grip Tape absorbs the moisture of your hands & prevents slipping due to sweaty hands. You can better use your grip strength & will perform better in training. A firm grip is important for maximum concentration and effective use of your strength.

Does Grip Tape replace the use of chalk?

Yes, Grip Tape can make the use of chalk unnecessary. Both products provide a better grip & the application of Grip Tape is already sufficient for a better grip in most applications. For maximum grip, both can be used at the same time.

Where can I use the Grip Tape?

Our Grip Tape can be applied to rings, parallel bars, dip bars, pull-up bars, dumbbells, kettlebells and all other handles. The most popular use of Grip Tape is to make metal or plastic handles of parallettes, rings or pull-up bars more grippy and prevent unnecessary slipping.

Does the tape leave residue when removed?

No, generally the Grip Tape does not leave any residue on the surface. If some adhesive does remain, it can usually be easily removed.

What is better about version 2.0 of Grip Tape?

We have been working on the perfect Grip Tape for a long time and have optimized the second version for less residue, longer durability on the bar and a longer roll.

For how long can I return my order?

Returns can be easily and quickly announced within 1 month after the arrival of the shipment without giving any reason. You can find all information about our return solutions in our GORNATION returns portal.

Grip Tape 2.0 – Perfect Grip for Your Training

Better Grip & More Performance

GORNATION's Grip Tape 2.0 is the ideal solution for athletes who need better grip on their training equipment. Whether on parallettes, rings, pull-up bars, or other bars – this grip tape ensures optimal hold and prevents slipping. With a width of 2.5 cm and a length of either 10m or 25m, the tape is versatile. It absorbs moisture, which is especially beneficial during intense workouts or in hot temperatures, and can be applied within seconds without leaving any residue.

Versatile Application Options

The grip tape can be used on various surfaces such as wood, metal, and plastic, making it ideal for a variety of training equipment. Whether on parallettes, pull-up bars, dip bars, or rings – the tape provides a non-slip grip everywhere. Even for dumbbells, barbells, and kettlebells, the grip tape offers a grippy surface that helps you use your strength more efficiently and improve your performance in training. With better grip, you can fully focus on your exercises without being distracted by sweaty hands.

Grip Tape vs. Chalk

In many cases, grip tape can replace the use of chalk. Both products improve grip, but the tape offers the advantage of not needing to be reapplied constantly. It stays in place throughout the workout, providing long-lasting hold. For maximum grip, however, you can also use chalk in addition to the tape to get the best possible support during intense workouts.

Comparison with Soft Grip Tape

For athletes looking for a softer grip tape, GORNATION also offers Soft Grip Tape. This tape is especially suitable for sports like tennis or hockey, where sports rackets are used. It comes in four strips of 120 cm each and is made from 100% PU. The Soft Grip Tape offers a softer grip and is particularly comfortable during longer training sessions. Compared to Grip Tape 2.0, which is designed for maximum durability and performance, the Soft Grip Tape is the perfect choice for athletes who prioritize comfort and flexibility.

Long Durability & No Slipping

Grip Tape 2.0 is specifically designed for durability and efficiency. The 2.0 version has been improved to leave less residue and stay on the bar longer. This provides you with a reliable and long-lasting solution that takes your training to the next level.

Portable & Flexible to Apply

Our grip tape is not only easy to apply but also easy to transport. Whether for your home gym, the calisthenics park, or the gym – you can take it anywhere and apply it to your equipment in no time. With a length of 10m or 25m, you have enough material to wrap multiple pieces of equipment and ensure you have the best grip in any environment.
